Lea's Perspective

  • I am married to my husband, and we have a blended family (his, mine,
    ours). Our children range from 24 to 7 years of age.

​​

  • I have parental experience of going through the Mankato area court system trying for custody of my stepson multiple times and working with GAL.

​​

  • I have also gone through a divorce and know the stresses and concerns that come
    along with it, especially when there are children involved.

 

  • With my experience throughout my journey in life, I want always to make it a priority
    to make families less stressed through this process and know that situations can
    have a positive result in an unfortunate situation.

Mediation Practice & Credentials

  • Graduated with an associate's degree in Business Management in 2015.

  • Graduated with honors from Rasmussen College with a Paralegal certificate in 2020.

​​

  • Completed Transformative Family Mediation for Rule 114 for Family Facilitative/
    Hybrid in August 2022.

​​

  • Currently a Family Law Paralegal at Birkholz Law since January 2021.

​​

  • Trained in Restorative Circles with The Katallasso Group.
