I am married and have a beautiful blended family. I am a mother, stepmother, and adoptive mother to 5 lovely children ranging from 9-18 years old.
My personal journey includes navigating through divorce, post-decree matters, high-conflict relationships, and foster care/adoption of children. I not only "survived" these challenges, but was able to create functional and productive relationships through the processes. Experiencing positive outcomes for myself and my children has provided me with hope for what is possible even within some of the most stressful and complex circumstances.
I have witnessed both the detrimental impacts of conflict during separation as well as the positive power of repair and restoration on children, adults, and families. These experiences have made me believe strongly in the importance of positive approaches to achieving healthy outcomes for all involved.
My experiences have led me to deeply value the unique circumstances of each person and family I meet. I believe everyone is an expert in their own story. Each person's contribution to creating positive solutions and outcomes is essential in the dispute resolution process.
